Rainbow Room Foundation (RRF) was proud to participate in the 5th Relinked Social Impact in Action Forum on September 26, 2025 at the Swiss Lenana Mount Hotel, Nairobi. Themed “Building Bold Collective Impact Strategies and Smarter Partnerships to Drive Real Impact,” the forum gathered changemakers, practitioners and leaders committed to collaboration that produces lasting social good.

Our team left energized and full of ideas. The conversations reinforced what we already believe: meaningful impact happens when organizations walk together, share strengths, and put communities at the center of design and delivery.
Highlights & Key Takeaways
Partnerships as the multiplier: Speakers and participants emphasized that collaboration unlocks scale and sustainability when partners bring their best tools, skills and resources to the table.
Quality over quantity: Through the representatives, RRF reaffirmed its focus on deep, measurable outcomes rather than headline beneficiary numbers. Thus, social impact must be meaningful and durable.
Localization matters: Using local resources and local leadership was highlighted as essential for solutions that last and benefit communities directly.
From idea to action: Practical case studies shared at the forum offered replicable approaches for turning community ideas into sustainable projects.

RRF’s contribution
Representing RRF, our delegation exchanged experience-focused approaches to youth and women empowerment, shared lessons from community-led initiatives, and explored practical partnership opportunities to amplify impact. We connected with organizations whose complementary strengths can help scale our programmes and deepen outcomes for the communities we serve.
What’s next?
We are excited to follow up on promising collaborations and to pilot new joint initiatives that prioritize local solutions, and sustained community empowerment.
